We are honored and very pleased to begin our third season by welcoming Dr. Andrew Staron, Associate Professor of Systematic Theology, St Mary’s Seminary and Graduate School of Theology, Cleveland., Ohio. The topic of his presentation will be: “The Mercy and Pastoral Vision of Pope Francis”. Following the presentation, questions will be taken from the audience.
Dr. Staron will be with us in person, Thursday evening, September 22nd at 7:00 pm at Saint Raphael Church with refreshments following.
Dr. Staron’s writings on Pope Francis as well as his conference papers and invited lectures on the Mercy of Pope Francis are numerous.
He was granted his Doctorate in Systemic Theology from The Catholic University of America, School of Theology and Religious Studies. He received his M.A. in Religion from the University of Chicago Divinity School and his A.B from Georgetown University. Dr. Staron, also, a scholar on the works of St Augustine, published The Gift of Love: Augustine, Jean-Luc Marion and the Trinity (Fortress Press).
